Dein Schwere(s)Los!-Team
Dear friend of Schwere(s)Los!
Schools are still closed, but we are back and on our first day we were welcomed by many who missed us in the last weeks. We are very touched by that! It is moving and always a a great joy to live in our community. But it also costs strength, and that is why we have also enjoyed the free time and are now strengthened again for you and all others. Welcome to our community!

KulturKiosk: Wir wollen bauen! - Culture Kiosk: We want to build! |
| |

Vielen Dank!
The municipal council of the city of Freiburg decided in spring to subsidize the operation of the Kulturkiosk - a big thank you to all the councillors who have supported us! Our task now is to finance the construction of the Tiny House. Since the requested foundation turned us down in July, we have spent the summer with sponsoring requests from Freiburg companies, with rather sobering results.
Planned is a barrier-free construction on wheels with a stage that can be folded out. As soon as the construction is finished, the city will support us financially so that the kiosk can be available to all during the week . Apart from several foundation applications that are on their way, we would like to have the help and donations from people, companies and organizations in our beautiful city. For this wonderful lighthouse project to become a reality! Upon request, we will gladly send the cost plan for the construction of the Tiny House.

Samstag, 23. September: Mit dabei beim Europaviertelfest! - Saturday, Sept.23: Participating at Europe District Party! |
| |
On Saturday, September 23, we will be guests at the Europe District Party in the afternoon at the invitation of the Volkshochschule.
But what is the Europe District?
The organizers invite you to rediscover the district together with them: During a weekend with concerts, performances, exhibitions, guided tours and workshops, the diverse perspectives of this district will be shown and made tangible. The view for the value and the quality of existing things will be opened. This sets a sign for a turn towards social sustainability in architecture and an urban planning which deals with the preservation of the building substance and grown social structures.

MY WORLD FROM THE HINGES - Living against and with fear
Nothing promises stability anymore, what was valid yesterday is void today. How will we, how will I live tomorrow? Can I manage it? And what do I need to find the courage to do so? These questions move people with and without crisis experience. But aren't we all crisis-ridden? Aren't we in the middle of the crisis, striving every day anew not to lose our heads and to trust that we will manage today and shape tomorrow again? Out of the feeling of existential threat, texts, poems and a dance performance have emerged that tell of challenges - but also of how they have been mastered and will be mastered again and again. The texts will be recited partly by the authors, partly by artists of the association Schwere(s)Los! The dance performance "(N)Immerda" will be performed by its creator Lisa Hoffmann.
(N)Immerda was created by Lisa and Tanja Hoffmann in cooperation with Schwere(s) Los! e. V. on the occasion of the World Mental Health Week 2021. Here, a chronological and at the same time non-linear insight into everyday experiences, incisive moments and path markers in the development of a mental illness is opened up. As a biographical artistic narrative, the experiences as a mother are made clear through the voice and in a moving form the experience as a person affected. Within the performance, therapeutically developed original material is used as a reporting prop. In late summer 2022 the performance was recorded as a video and is available as a short film.
